    Brazil's wheat exports hit record levels

    Brazil's "Economic Value" reported on March 8, according to a survey by Brazil's National Grains Association (Anec) , Brazil exported 1.
    62 million tons of wheat in the first two months of this year, more than three times the same period in 2021 .
    Exports in the first two months of this year were 46.
    3% higher than the whole of last year .
    The survey shows that since December last year, wheat exports have been on an upward trend, with exports of 538,600 tons, 695,900 tons and 925,300 tons respectively .
    Overseas sales should remain strong this month, according to Anec .
    Brazil's March wheat exports are expected to reach 502,600 tonnes, compared with no March 2021 exports .
