    Changing gut bacteria may make weight loss easier

    After considering factors such as age and gender, the researchers found 31 "baseline fecal metagenome functional characteristics" related to weight loss

    Multiple genes are at work

    It is worth noting that for those who have not lost weight, their gut microbes are more capable of breaking down starch than those who have lost weight
