Coronavirus disease
Chen Xu, the Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations in Switzerland, made a speech before the adoption of the resolution, saying that the resolution embodies the clear stance of various countries to promote equitable access to vaccines, and to protect the right to life and health.
Chen Xu said that China has always taken practical actions to promote the equitable distribution of vaccines and firmly opposes "vaccine nationalism" and any attempts to politicize vaccine cooperation; China has now joined the "New Crown Vaccine Implementation Plan" and promised to provide the first batch of 10 million doses of vaccines.
