China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Biomedicine National Competition Held to discuss the new development of the industry

On the 21st, the opening ceremony of the 2022 11th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Biomedical National Competition was held
in Hangzhou.
More than 38,000 companies participated in this competition, including 5,905 companies in the biomedical industry, and a total of 329 enterprises successfully advanced after layers of selection and fierce competition

The shortlisted projects involve medical device research and development, new drug preparation, gene editing, genetic testing, traditional Chinese medicine innovation, modern seed industry innovation and other fields

The China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is one of
the innovation and entrepreneurship competitions with the highest specifications, the largest scale, the best quality and the widest influence of participating enterprises in China.
Since the competition was held in 2012, more than 280,000 participants have participated in the competition, and the cumulative investment enterprises of financial capital such as banks and venture capital have exceeded 100 billion yuan, and nearly 200 participating enterprises have been successfully listed

As one of China's strategic emerging industries, the biopharmaceutical industry has made remarkable achievements in the new era, at present, the number of innovative drug research in China ranks second in the world, and biopharmaceutical enterprises account for more than 1/3
of the listed enterprises on the Science and Technology Innovation Board.
The Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle have become national biomedical innovation highlands, and biotechnology has strongly supported the current prevention and control
of the new crown epidemic.
At the same time, the rapid development of the capital market has also provided broad support and development conditions

This year's Biomedical National Competition consists of
84 start-ups and 245 growth companies.
The projects shortlisted for this national competition cover important areas of the biomedical industry, and projects such as new tumor therapy, anti-cancer drugs, and precision medicine have appeared on the stage
.
All participating enterprises compete on the same stage in different subdivision technologies and different application scenarios, and jointly improve
through the "racecourse" of scientific and technological innovation.
