    Studies have shown that chiral copper sulfide nanomaterials have high affinity with TMV coat protein subunits and are firmly bound inside the TMV helical tube


    Further research confirmed that when TMV-infected crops were sprayed with D-NPs aqueous solution (1 μM, 5 mL/plant), >95% of the virus could be removed within 3 days, and the efficiency was significantly higher than that of all current chemical pesticides against plant viruses
