Nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds are inseparable from human life
.
According to statistics, more than half of the drug molecules approved by the U.
The Zhao Dongbing research team of Nankai University proposed a new strategy for the synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds: the use of two small rings to cross dimerize and expand the ring to achieve the efficient synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic rings (Figure 1)
.
The team used palladium/Lewis acid synergistic catalysis and introduced phosphine ligands and dinitrogen ligands at the same time to cleverly solve the tension ring faced by the ring expansion strategy that is prone to decomposition or self-polymerization, and chemical bond mismatches may occur during the reaction.
