Background: In early 2021, the Coronavirus Disease-2019 (New Coronary Pneumonia) pandemic has caused more than 2 million deaths worldwide
    .
According to observations, severe new coronary pneumonia mainly affects elderly people with multiple complications

    .

Hypertension and complications such as cardiovascular, respiratory or kidney disease, as well as older age, have been identified as the main risk factors for poor prognosis and death in patients with new coronary pneumonia

Methods: We studied a group of hospitalized patients with new coronary pneumonia
    .
All patients with no comorbidities, no conventional treatment, and age 65 years or older are selected from an international registration (HOPE-New Coronary Pneumonia, NCT04334291NCT04334291NCT04334291)

    .

Results: A total of 773 healthy young patients were included in the study
    .
The primary composite end point was 29% (225/773), and the overall mortality rate was 3.
