On December 17, the National Medical Insurance Bureau announced the "Opinions on the National Organization for the Centralized Procurement and Use of Coronary Stents with Volume and Supporting Measures"

The "Opinions" clarified that the selected products for the centralized procurement of coronary stents shall be paid with the selected price as the payment standard, and the full amount shall be included in the scope of medical insurance payment, and the medical insurance fund shall pay according to the prescribed proportion

The "Opinions" require that the medical insurance departments of all coordinating regions should calculate the agreed purchase amount of each selected product

In June of this year, the National Medical Insurance Bureau and the Ministry of Finance issued a document, proposing that the difference between the cost of medicines after the state’s centralized procurement of drugs with reduced prices and the budget fund paid by medical insurance should be rewarded to public medical institutions in a certain proportion
