In recently published work, various fluorinated polysilicaxane coatings with hydrophobic properties have been manufactured and coated on phosphated Q235 carbon steel (PCS) to improve corrosion resistance and anti-fouling properties.
phosphate of carbon steel is to immerse the sample in phosphate liquid for a certain period of time. The fluorinated polysilica oxide coating is prepared by curing the fluorinated polysilica oxide sol applied to the sample
. After corrosion and fouling test, it shows that the high electrochemical impedance and anti-fouling performance are better corrosion resistance, and the dirt adhesion of the coating sample is small.
The fluorinated polysilioxane coating has good thermal stability
in addition, the microscopic form, chemical components, thermal stability, surface energy, roughness and adhesion of the fluorinated polysilica oxide coating are also studied. Fluorinated polysilicae coating shows good microsyscopic uniformity, thermal stability, weight loss of only 6.1% at 375 degrees C and adhesion on the substrate.
the study was published in Progress in Organic Coatings Volume 134, September 2019, pp. 177-188.
