Three major innovations need to be realized in the informatization of pesticide residue detection

In May 2019, the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Deepening Reforms and Strengthening Food Safety Work" pointed out that "the food safety situation in China is still complex and severe, which affects the people's sense of gain, happiness, and security, and it has become a comprehensive construction of socialism.

Pang Guofang introduced that any technological innovation must first have breakthroughs in basic theoretical research

Secondly, there must be innovation in testing technology to convert material standards into digital standards

Finally, there must be innovation in detection modes

Pang Guofang introduced that to realize the application of pesticide residue information detection technology, on the one hand, the integration technology of high-resolution mass spectrometry + Internet + data science ternary interconnection should be used to build a pesticide residue detection technology platform; It is necessary to implement the "five unification" standardized operations, namely unified sampling, unified sample preparation, unified testing methods, unified format data upload and unified format statistical analysis report

Pesticide residue management should be precise

The results of sampling and testing in 31 provincial capitals/municipalities show that the pesticides detected in vegetables and fruits in China are mainly at low and medium residue levels

In response to the above shortcomings, Pang Guofang put forward countermeasures for pesticide residue control in China

First, there is an urgent need to revise the pesticide residue monitoring plans of various departments in China

The second is to deal with highly toxic and banned pesticides, and achieve the "four precision" standards, that is, the "four strict" standards of "Production Quality Management Standards", "Good Agricultural Practices", "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points" must be "accurate in place" , in order to cure chronic diseases

Third, it is necessary to strengthen the research and formulation of MRL and acceptable daily intake (ADI) standards, so that the research level of these important standards related to people's health is comparable to that of advanced countries in the world

Pang Guofang suggested that a "National Pesticide Residue Basic Database" should be established to provide technical support for the comprehensive control of pesticide residue pollution
