    Recently, researchers from Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University published a paper to explore the effects of deproteinized calf blood extract and recombinant human epidermal growth factor (rhEGF) on corneal epithelial damage repair and angiogenesis in rabbits The results showed that rhEGF and tachyzoite had no significant effect on corneal neovascularization This article was published in the 5th issue of new progress in ophthalmology in 2014 The rabbit corneal epithelial injury and neovascularization model were established and randomly divided into three groups (5 eyes in each group): calf blood deproteinized extract group (tachyzoite group), rhEGF group and NS group One day after the operation, the corneal epithelium was repaired and the area of neovascularization was observed On the first day after operation, the corneal epithelial healing rate of rhEGF group, tachyzoite group and NS group was (51.83 ± 8.87)%, (39.35 ± 6.92)%, (43.32 ± 5.42)%, respectively The difference among the three groups was statistically significant (F = 6.475, P = 0.012) The corneal epithelial healing rate of rhEGF group was higher than that of tachyzoite group (P = 0.004) and NS group (P = 0.041) There was no significant difference in corneal epithelial healing rate between the three groups (P > 0.05) On the 18th day after operation, the area of corneal neovascularization (58.27 ± 5.42) mm2 in the group of tachycardia was smaller than that in the group of rhEGF (79.98 ± 8.63) mm2 and the group of NS (77.16 ± 12.59) mm2, the difference was statistically significant (P = 0.040, 0.008) There was no significant difference in the area of corneal neovascularization between the three groups (P > 0.05).
