Feng Dejin, deputy minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, believes that sustainable agricultural ecosystems and biosafety management are the reasons why the export growth rate and export value of Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and aquatic products in the first four months of this year are higher than those of the same period in 2020.

The Vietnam Aquatic Products Processing and Export Association (VASEP) predicts that the export of aquatic products in the second quarter of this year will increase by 10% year-on-year to US$2.
    1 billion.

This is a good time for Vietnam.
While biosafety is protected, Vietnam continues to expand the aquaculture area, increase the output of aquatic products, and ensure the stable development of processing work and the value chain.

      Mr.
Feng Dejin said that in the future, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will take synchronous measures related to breeding, processing, marketing, and international cooperation to increase the export of aquatic products.
