Ecological balance (eco equilibruim)

the relatively stable state of structure and function of the ecosystem in a certain period of time, its material and energy inputs and outputs are close to equal, and can be restored to the original stable state through self-regulation (or artificial control) under external interference. On the contrary, when external interference exceeds the self-regulating capacity of ecosystems and makes it unable to return to its original state, it is called ecological balance destruction. ) Maintaining ecological balance is not the ultimate goal of mankind. Ecological balance refers to the relative stability of natural ecosystems, while human beings maintain the ecological balance of certain areas according to their own needs (e.g. the establishment of nature reserves), or break the old balance of certain areas and establish new balances (e.g., transforming deserts into oasis).
