European black truffle, also known as black spore truffle, is a valuable underground mycorrhizal edible fungus
    .

Reporters on the 22nd from Zhong Keyuan Kunming Institute of Botany was informed that the team recently received a series of research results, laid the foundation for the European artificial truffle cultivation and plantation management

    Zhong ASTRI ASTRI

In the forest ecosystem, many forest trees have a symbiotic relationship with soil fungi, and the formed ectomycorrhiza play an important role in the nutrient cycle
    .

In the international market, the retail price of European black truffles is as high as 800 euros per kilogram.

Earlier, China Kexue Yuan fungi and mycorrhizal research team found that Kunming Institute of Botany, black truffle can better form Ectomycorrhizal and Mongolian oak seedlings, and significantly promote the growth and development of Mongolian oak, but how the regulation of ectomycorrhizal The physiology and ecology of the rhizosphere and the mechanism affecting the growth and development of Quercus mongolica are still poorly understood
    .

    Academy of Sciences

The research team of the Kunming Institute of Botany used 3-year-old Quercus mongolica and black spore tuber ectophytic mycorrhizal seedlings as the research object, and systematically analyzed the photosynthetic efficiency, nutrient absorption, rhizosphere carbon secretion and rhizosphere bacterial community of Mongolian oak
    .

The results showed that the phosphorus absorption of Quercus mongolica was significantly increased, while potassium absorption was inhibited; photosynthetic carbon fixation in the above-ground part and total organic carbon secretion in the underground part were significantly enhanced, but the secretion of organic acids was reduced by about 50%

These results indicate that it is possible to promote the growth and nutrient absorption of the ectomycorrhizal mycorrhiza of Quercus mongolica and Nigrosporium by regulating the carbon synthesis and secretion of Quercus mongolica and the bacterial community in the rhizosphere
    .

The study further verified that plants have their own carbon-benefit trade-off strategy, which can allocate photosynthetic carbon more reasonably and effectively, and regulate rhizosphere microbial communities through carbon secretion, thereby promoting plant nutrient absorption and soil carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus and other nutrient cycles.

The research results have been published in the international professional journal "Mycorrhiza" and the classic agricultural and forestry journal "Plant and Soil"
