Runo Chemical Technology Center made a series of detailed tests on the resin, the formula uses resin with a small amount of monomer, the appropriate amount of trigger, mainly to investigate the resin curing speed, plastic bonding strength, cohesion, compatible, high temperature and high humidity and other properties. Experiments show that FSP8788 has the following characteristics.

bonding strength
bonding strength is the stress required when the adhesive system is broken, and is an important indicator in adhesive technology. In the experiment, we applied the glue layer of the resin FSP8788 to the transparent PC and PC, PC and PVC, and bonded it. After UV curing, after the wanding machine test, the shear strength of the PC sticky PC can reach 9.2MPa, and the shear strength of the PC sticky PVC can reach 8.5MPa. It can be seen from the experimental data that FSP8788 has excellent plastic bonding strength.

experiment, we inject FSP8788 as the main body of UV glue into the dumbbell mold, UV curing, the formation of glue strip. A series of test data are obtained from the pull test of the strip, the results of which are shown in the table below. The FSP8788 has an elongity rate of about 200%, while its tensile strength can reach 32MPa, strong cohesion and excellent tenacity.

High temperature and high humidity
With the development of adhesive technology, many applications require more and more performance of adhesives, and high temperature and humidity resistance is one of the very important test indicators. The initial bonding strength of many adhesive resins on the market is very high, however, after boiling or high temperature and humidity testing, its bonding strength has dropped significantly, and even the adhesive layer whitening or directly falling off. FSP8788 itself has better hydrophobicity, water absorption rate of about 1.8%, while the conversion rate of dual keys is high. The mature formulation system with FSP8788 as the main body tested 1000h under the condition of 85 degrees C/85% RH, the glue layer was unchanged, and the bonding strength decreased slightly. In the test of the performance of boiling water resistance, the glue layer will not appear the phenomenon of fog whitening. A series of tests have shown that the FSP8788 has excellent high temperature and humidity resistance to meet the needs of a wide range of high-end applications.

many UV adhesive resins have some compatible problems, and resin or monosome compatible is the problem of fogging, transparency decline. FSP8788 is compatible with a variety of monosomes (e.g. IBOA, THFA, ACMO, etc.), and with most acrylic resin compatible is good, after mutual dissolution system clarification and transparency, there will be no turbidity, layering and other phenomena.
