    August 1, at the 70th anniversary of the institute of oceanographic research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, five new species of deep-sea life named after the
    ocean were officially named.

    In recent years, from the offshore to the deep sea, important progress has been made in the field of biodiversity exploration and research in the deep sea, such as the western Pacific semen, thermal fluids and cold springs, and a large number of new discoveries have been made, which have had important international impacts.

    Institute of Oceans published 2 new species, 2 new sub-species, 17 new genus, 276 new species, and 65% of the total number of new species of marine invertebrates and fish;
    Among the five new species of deep-sea organisms released this time, victorgorgia iocasica sp. Nov. is about 33cm high, fan-shaped, bright purple, meaning "purple gas eastwards", belonging to the Coral Gang, Soft Coral, Purple Willow Coral Section. It was discovered in 2019 at a depth of 1,549 metres in the Caroline Sein Mountains in the western Pacific Ocean.

Belongs to the hairy gang, scaly silkworms, dart caterpillars genus. Discovered in 2019 at the bottom of the rock at 888 to 980 metres of Caroline Sein.
    sea otters (also known as sea rabbits) first discovered in the western Pacific Ocean by tritonia iocasica sp. nov., a marine sea otter (also known as a sea rabbit), belonging to the abdominal foot, naked eye, and sanqi manatee section. Discovered in 2019 at a depth of 970 to 1262m in the Caroline Seein in the western Pacific Ocean. Up to 12cm long, the front is pink and feeds on red coral.
    new species of sternostylus iocasicus sp. nov. armored shrimp, belonging to the crustacean submen, soft armor, full-eye, hetero-chest shrimp section. The body length is about 18 cm, the head and chest gastric area has hexa-shaped arrangement of thorns, feet and steps slender, long 6 or 7 columns of sharp thorns. The species, which co-lives with willow corals, was discovered in 2017 and 2018 at depths of 1246-1366 metres in the Caroline Seatum and Magellan Seatum, respectively.
    sea-length stem sponge (new species) Caulophacus iocasicus sp. nov. up to 450 cm, long stem stalks with multiple branches, the top of the small mushroom-like sponge body. The meaning of "the future, life and life", under the six sponge outline, pine sponge, flower bone sponge section. It was found in 2017 and 2019 on rocks between 859 and 1054 metres deep in the Caroline Sein in the western Pacific Ocean.
