Fujian and Zhejiang provinces deepen cooperation in marine fishery law enforcement

The fishery law enforcement departments of Fujian and Zhejiang provinces recently signed a memorandum on the cooperation mechanism of marine fishery law enforcement in Xiapu County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, and launched the first joint law enforcement action of the hukou supervision this year

The fishery law enforcement departments of the two provinces exchanged reports on the marine and fishery law enforcement work since 2021, analyzed the situation and existing problems, and signed an agreement on a joint mechanism for cooperation in marine and fishery law enforcement between the two provinces.

The two sides emphasized that the current marine fishing moratorium has entered the critical mid-to-late stage, and the law enforcement officers of the two provinces should deepen maritime law enforcement cooperation, strengthen information and intelligence sharing, jointly study and judge the maritime law enforcement situation, strengthen the management and control of potential safety hazards in the production of maritime fishing vessels, and strictly investigate and punish all kinds of marine fishery violations.
