In August 2017, the central environmental protection inspector pointed out that the qualified rate of the standardized management of hazardous waste in Guizhou Province was low, which was far from the national requirements.

However, the inspection in July 2018 found that Qiandongnan Prefecture did not pay enough attention to the inspection and rectification work, supervision and inspection were not in place, and there was a problem of false rectification.
