Compared with other vegetable oils, the content of unsaturated fatty acids in hempseed oil accounted for 89%-93% of fatty acids, and the content of essential fatty acids was higher than 80%. The ratio of flaxic acid and alpha-flax acid in hemp seeds is between 2.29 and 4.68, which is in line with the proportion of human nutrition intake. In addition, hemp seed oil is rich in plant sterols, including 6 kinds of sterols, 4 kinds of 4 kinds of 4-methylsterols and 4 kinds of triamcinolone, of which B-glutasterol content is the most abundant. B-glutasterol has a significant effect on reducing serum cholesterol, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
