Health Care Commission: 105 new confirmed cases, including 102 local cases

July 29, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 105 new confirmed cases, of which 3 cases were imported from abroad (1 case in Guangdong, 1 case in Yunnan, 1 case in Shaanxi), 102 cases in China (96 cases in Xinjiang, 5 cases in Liaoning, 1 case in Beijing);
13 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 584 close contacts were removed from medical observation, and 8 more serious cases were reported than the previous day.
78 confirmed cases (including 2 cases of severe illness) and 2 suspected cases from overseas. A total of 2059 confirmed cases, a total of 1981 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on July 29, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 574 confirmed cases (of which 33 were serious cases), a total of 78957 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths were reported, a total of 84,165 confirmed cases were reported, and 2 suspected cases were reported. A total of 786,957 close contacts were traced and 18,353 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 21 new cases of asymptomatic infection (1 case imported from abroad); 12 cases of confirmed cases on the same day (no overseas importation); 2 cases of medical observation (2 cases imported from abroad) were dismissed on the same day; and 280 cases of asymptomatic infection (90 cases of overseas importation) were released from medical observation on the same day.
