Health Care Commission: 19 new confirmed cases, including 4 new cases in the local area

From 0:24 p.m. on August 15, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 19 new confirmed cases, of which 15 were imported from abroad (Shanghai 5, Guangdong 3, Shaanxi 3, Tianjin 2, Fujian 1, Sichuan 1), 4 local cases (all in Xinjiang);
56 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 1290 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 2 fewer serious cases were reported than the previous day.
184 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and 3 suspected cases have been imported from outside China. A total of 2278 confirmed cases, a total of 2094 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on August 15, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 618 confirmed cases (of which 34 were serious cases), a total of 79,575 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths were reported, 84,827 confirmed cases were reported, and 3 suspected cases existing. A total of 805,857 close contacts were traced, and 19933 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 16 new cases of asymptomatic infection (11 cases imported from abroad);
received a total of 4934 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
4406 cases (3488 discharges, 69 deaths), 46 cases (46 discharges) in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and 482 cases in
regions (450 discharges and 7 deaths).
