January 28th, from 00:24, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 52 new confirmed cases, of which 16 cases were imported from abroad (9 in Shanghai, 5 in Guangdong, 1 in Tianjin, 1 case in Hunan), 36 cases of local (21 cases in Heilongjiang, 13 cases in Jilin, 1 case in Beijing, 1 case in Hebei);
70 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 1448 close contacts were removed from medical observation, and 6 fewer serious cases were reported than the previous day.
300 confirmed cases (of which 4 are severe cases) and 1 suspected case has been imported from abroad. A total of 4673 confirmed cases, a total of 4373 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on January 28, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 1802 confirmed cases (of which 99 were serious cases), 82,940 cases had been cured and discharged from hospital, 4636 cumulative deaths had been reported, 89,378 confirmed cases had been reported and 2 suspected cases had been reported. A total of 963,237 close contacts were traced, and 38,876 close contacts were still under medical observation.
