Health Care Commission: 31 new confirmed 10 cases are imported from abroad

August 31, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 10 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (Tianjin 3 cases, Hebei 3 cases, Inner Mongolia 1 case, Shanghai 1 case, Fujian 1 case, Guangdong 1 case);
31 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 532 close contacts were removed from medical observation, and 1 case of severe illness was reduced from the previous day.
182 confirmed cases (of which 3 are serious cases) have been imported from abroad, with no existing suspected cases. A total of 2509 confirmed cases, a total of 2327 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on August 31, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 216 confirmed cases (of which 3 were serious cases), a total of 80,208 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4,634 cumulative deaths were reported, and a total of 85,058 confirmed cases were reported, with no existing suspected cases. A total of 815,740 close contacts were traced and 7,546 were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 34 new cases of asymptomatic infection (all imported from abroad);
received a total of 5344 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
4810 cases (4342 discharges, 89 deaths), 46 cases (46 discharges) in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and 488 cases in
regions (462 discharges and 7 deaths).
