Health Care Commission: 37 new crown confirmed cases, including 30 local cases

From 0:24 p.m. on August 5, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 37 new confirmed cases, including 7 cases imported from abroad (5 in Shanghai, 1 case in Shandong, 1 case in Shaanxi), 30 cases in China (27 cases in Xinjiang, 3 cases in Liaoning);
10 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 474 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 2 fewer serious cases were reported than the previous day.
102 confirmed cases (including 1 case of severe illness) and 2 suspected cases from overseas. A total of 2110 confirmed cases, a total of 2008 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on August 5, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 837 confirmed cases (of which 34 were serious cases), a total of 79,057 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths were reported, a total of 84,528 confirmed cases were reported, and 2 suspected cases were reported. A total of 795,607 close contacts were traced and 23,985 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 20 new cases of asymptomatic infection (7 cases imported from abroad);
received a total of 4276 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
3754 cases (2314 discharges, 43 deaths), 46 cases (46 discharges) in the Macao Special Administrative Region and 476 cases in
regions (441 discharges and 7 deaths).
