Health Care Commission: 9 new confirmed cases, all imported from abroad

From 00:24 on August 28th, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported nine new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (3 in Shanghai, 2 in Fujian, 2 in Guangdong and 2 in Sichuan);
35 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, and 1,286 close contacts were released from medical observation, with the number of serious cases remaining the same as the previous day.
188 confirmed cases (of which 4 are severe cases) have been imported from abroad, and there are no existing suspected cases. A total of 2473 confirmed cases, a total of 2285 cases cured out of hospital, no deaths.

A total of 814,433 close contacts were traced, and 9148 close contacts were still under medical observation.
