Recently, henan Provincial Health Department issued the "2018 county-level critical maternal and newborn treatment center standardized construction evaluation program", clearly will take 3 years to implement the county-level critical maternal and newborn treatment center standardization construction. By the end of 2018, at least one critical maternal and newborn treatment center will be built in each county (city or district), and more than 20% of the county-level treatment in the province will meet the standardized construction requirements.
According to the Program, Henan Province will implement the standardization of county-level critical maternal and newborn treatment centers, enhance county-level critical maternal and newborn treatment capacity, improve the network of monitoring and treatment referral services, standardize the construction of the maternal and newborn first aid referral network, form a hierarchical responsibility, up-down linkage, response to orderly, efficient operation of critical maternal and newborn first aid, referral, consultation network, to protect maternal and child health.
The province will carry out standardized construction of critical maternal and newborn treatment centers at the county level, continuously improve personnel, housing, facilities and technical conditions, and, through standardized construction activities, promptly identify the difficulties faced by the construction of critical maternal and newborn treatment centers in the bailiwick, and actively take measures to solve practical problems and strengthen the responsibility for maternal and child safety.
