Henan Province tried to implement the certificate system for the commitment to compliance of edible agricultural products to standardize the use of the new version of the certificate

Recently, the Henan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Provincial Market Supervision Administration issued the "Notice on the Comprehensive Trial Implementation of the Commitment Compliance Certificate System for Edible Agricultural Products".

It is reported that the pilot category of the commitment certificate of compliance includes five categories of edible agricultural products, including vegetables, fruits, live livestock and poultry, eggs, and farmed aquatic products, and encourages other characteristic and advantageous agricultural products, green food, organic agricultural products, geographical indication agricultural products, "famous, special, excellent and new products".

The Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs requires agricultural and rural departments at all levels to strengthen daily inspections, risk monitoring and supervision and spot checks on production entities included in the trial scope, guide production entities to continue to standardize the issuance of commitment compliance certificates, and increase supervision and inspections on entities that have not issued certificates.

In 2019, since the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs piloted the edible agricultural product qualification certificate system nationwide, agricultural and rural departments in various regions have actively promoted and further improved the supervision measures for the quality and safety of agricultural products, and achieved phased results
