    The new cell model and findings were published today in the journal Cells

    The new findings from Associate Professor Katja Kanninen's research group may, in the future, provide important insights into why the majority of Alzheimer's patients experience disturbances in their sense of smell early in the pathogenesis of the disease


    The olfactory mucosa is thought to be the entry point for air pollutants and viruses into the brain
