    On July 6, Huntsman announced that it will close a titanium dioxide plant in South Africa in the fourth quarter of 2016.
    The plant has an existing capacity of 25,000 tons
    .
    The closure of the factory is expected to bring about US$200 million in cash backflow for Huntsman within the next two years
    .
    The South African plant has approximately 140 employees and is the smallest and oldest titanium dioxide plant in Huntsman's pigment additives division
    .
    According to the plan, the plant will continue production until the fourth quarter of 2016, after which Huntsman will supply its titanium dioxide plant in Europe to users in the region
