A new study describes nano-silver as improving the thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance of polycarp coatings on tubes in gas heaters.
current work, experimental devices are used to assess the effect of adding silver nanoparticles (Ag-NP) to the polycarp coating on the heating properties of the coated steel pipes inside the gas heater. In addition, the protective properties of pure polypronium and polycepers containing different concentrations of Ag-NP were studied over a 42-day
. The results show that by adding Ag-NPs to the polycarp coating, the heat transfer rate is greatly improved.
high-performance
thermal evaluation showed that polypropyl coatings contain 2 wt. %Ag-NPs represent ideal thermal performance compared to bare steel pipes. In addition, EIS results show that coating corrosion behavior can be improved by adding Ag-NPs. Compared with pure polycelue, there is 2% weight polyp. The content of Ag-NPs in the coating increased by 1.7 times. The physical and chemical properties of Ag-NP in polyyurea substates provide a high-performance coating for gas heaters.
the study was published in September 2020 in issue 146 of Organic Coatings Progress.
