Introduction: Chicago, March 5 (odj) news: in the first four months of 2001, the number of meal shipments soared to 1.46 million tons, an increase of 36% over the same period last year The strong demand for non GMO soybean meal and the resumption of interest in Indian rapeseed meal and peanut meal in the traditional market provide strong support for exports The strong demand of Southeast Asian Importers for non genetically modified soybean meal from India and the surge of domestic production led to the export of 1.28 million tons (estimated value) from October to January, an increase of 22% over the same period of 2000 (October to January) In 2001, the export of peanut and rapeseed meal in the market increased four times compared with the same period of last year (October January), with the assessed value of 123000 tons and 60000 tons respectively In view of the improvement of crushing growth space and quality, the industry raised the evaluation of peanut meal export in 2001 market to 100000 tons.
