Int J Surg: The best dose of 0.75% ropone in the chest analgesics required after chest surgery

Pain caused by cough after chest surgery is still a clinical problem, and pain relief through intrathorathal pain has not been widely studiedThe purpose of this study is to determine the appropriate amount of 0.75% of the analgesics in the chest cavity required for chest surgerywe conducted a double-blind, randomized, controlled trialForty-five patients were randomly divided into three groupsR20, R15, and R10 (n-15), and when the pain score caused by cough after surgery is scored by 4 points, 20 ml, 15 ml, or 10 ml 0.75% roponecain scored in the chest cavity of 3 groups of patients, respectivelyThe main results were pain scores (C-NRS) during coughing, and secondary results were pain scores (R-NRS) during rest, morphine consumption, effect time, and intrathoracic analgesic timeresults showed that all patients in the R20 and R15 groups reported effective relief of pain after postoperative coughingHowever, only seven patients in the R10 group reported effective pain reliefCompared to patients in the R10 group, patients in the R20 and R15 groups had lower C-NRS scores, less morphine consumption at 8 h and 24 h, shorter pain relief times, and longer pain relief timesThere was no significant difference in R-NRS between the three groups, the results show that the chest analgesics with 0.75% roptopain, the dosage of 15 ml or 20 ml, can effectively relieve the chest mirror surgery after the cough caused by pain
