The Financial Tribune reported on November 1 that the latest data released by the National Statistics Center of Iran showed that the overall consumer price index for goods and services rose by 45.
4% over the same period last year for the 12-month period ending October 22, 2021 .
" Food and Beverage " has the highest annualized inflation rate at 61.
4%, and the lowest year-on-year inflation rate is "Communications" at 1.
1% .
The prices of sweet peppers , watermelons , tomatoes, carrots and other foods have all increased by more than 130% .
