However, it is not clear
whether a single neural circuit can regulate the whole process of neurogenesis.
What's more, it is unclear whether
neurocircuit-modified neonatal hippocampal cells can improve hippocampus-dependent functions such as learning and memory and emotion.

On May 6, 2022, Li Yadong and Luo Yanjia, postdoctoral fellows in Song Juan's research group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, made new progress
in the regulation of hippocampal neurogenesis and memory retrieval in adult adults by neural circuit circuits.
