    Migraine is a common primary headache disorder characterized by episodic disabling headaches, often accompanied by focal neurological symptoms called aura


    The aim of the study, published in The Journal of Headache and Pain, a leading journal in the field of anesthesia, was to assess whether migraine sufferers had a higher risk of dementia than non-migraine sufferers


    The researchers obtained data from the 2002-2019 National Health Insurance Health Screening Cohort in Korea

    Thus, the study's findings suggest that migraine is associated with a subsequent increased risk of dementia
