The study included 24 PD patients ≥65 years of age and were randomly divided into group A (6 weeks of intervention, followed by 6 weeks of control) and group B (6 weeks of control, then 6 weeks of intervention) .

The results showed that after Bonferroni correction, the two groups of patients had significant differences in changes in the two subscales of the Modified Fall Efficacy Scale (MFES) and the multidirectional reach test in the first 6 weeks.

In summary, the results of the study show that personalized IVGB exercise training can improve the balance and postural stability of elderly people with mild to moderate PD, and prevent falls.
