    This study evaluated changes in HIV infection events, adherence, safety, and sexual behavior among gay men using daily preventive measures (D-PrEP) and event-driven preventive measures (ED-PrEP) in 4 cities in China


    This non-randomized controlled trial was conducted in Beijing, Shenyang, Chongqing, and Shenzhen from December 11, 2018, to November 30, 2020, in HIV-seronegative gay men
    .


    Participants self-selected the D-PrEP or ED-PrEP regimen at baseline and could switch regimens during the 12-month study period


    This non-randomized controlled trial was conducted in Beijing, Shenyang, Chongqing, and Shenzhen from December 11, 2018, to November 30, 2020, in HIV-seronegative gay men


    A total of 1530 MSM were included in the analysis
