Jiangxi formulates an online medical treatment pricing reimbursement policy

Jiangxi Provincial Health Insurance Bureau recently issued "on the formulation of the first batch of "Internet plus" medical service items prices and medical insurance payment policy notice", the eligible "Internet plus" medical service costs priority into the scope of medical insurance payment.The first batch of "Internet Plus" medical service price items include Internet (remote) consultation and Internet (remote) consultation two categories of a total of four items. Among them, Internet (remote) follow-up is charged according to the general outpatient consultation fee, Internet (remote) consultation, Internet (remote) imaging society consultation, Internet (remote) pathology consultation by the invited party to set their own prices. Medical institutions should follow the principles of fairness, legality and good faith, take into account such factors as the technical content of the project, the degree of medical risk, and formulate the price of the "Internet Plus" medical service project, and report it to the medical security department.The Notice makes it clear that eligible "Internet Plus" medical services will be given priority in the payment of health insurance. Medical insurance fixed-point medical institutions that have been approved by the relevant departments to carry out Internet consultation and treatment activities may, in accordance with the voluntary principle, enter into supplementary agreements with the medical insurance operators in the co-ordination areas, and the "Internet Plus" follow-up services provided by them to the insured persons may be included in the scope of payment of the medical insurance fund. The new "Internet Plus" medical service items applied for by public medical institutions shall be handled in accordance with the requirements of the Interim Measures for project management of the prices of new medical services in Jiangxi Province. Public medical institutions should establish an internal management system for "Internet plus" medical services, strengthen cost accounting and cost control, improve risk prevention and control mechanisms, and strictly implement the price publicity system.
