Kazakhstan temporarily restricts the export of sunflower seeds and sunflower oil

Kazakh News Agency Nursultan, December 15, according to an order signed by the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan will impose a six-month export restriction on sunflower seeds and sunflower oil .

According to the order, starting from December 15, 2021, Kazakhstan will implement export quota management on some sunflower seeds and sunflower oil commodities
.
Among them, the export quota of crushed and unbroken sunflower seeds and other sunflower seeds is 125,000 tons; the export quota of raw sunflower oil and non-refined sunflower oil in primary packaging is 110,000 tons; and the export quota of sunflower oil in other primary packaging is 110,000 tons.
The export quota for its by-products is 110,000 tons

The order is valid until July 1, 2022
.

In order to apply for export quotas from Kazakhstan to third countries and Eurasian Economic Union countries, the applicant needs to submit an application form for export quotas of goods in the prescribed format

Each applicant has only one opportunity per month to apply for the export quota for the next month
