    Lithuania's export of animal-derived food in the first half of the year increased by 15% year-on-year

    Lithuanian ELTA News Agency reported on August 4 that data from the Lithuanian Food and Veterinary Administration showed that Lithuania exported 129,000 tons of animal- derived food to non- EU countries in the first half of the year, an increase of 15% (more than 20,000 tons) year-on-year .

     
    Exports of cooking products (+36%) and fish and their products (+26%) had the largest year-on-year growth

    The export of dairy products increased by 6% year-on-year, including 16,000 tons of milk powder, 13,000 tons of cheese products, and 9,000 tons of canned milk.
    Libya, China, the United States and Malaysia were the main export markets for dairy products
    .
    Meat exports fell by 4% year-on-year.
    Among them, beef exports accounted for the largest proportion (more than 1,900 tons).
    Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, the United States, Japan and Norway are the main meat export markets

    Ukraine and Moldova are the main export markets for fish and its products
