Measures for the Investigation and Prosecution of Food Safety Fraud began to solicit opinions.

The Measures provide for product fraud by using poultry, livestock, animals and aquatic animal meat processed foods with unknown death, toxic death or cause of death and other non-edible uses, adulterated in other production and operation, faked, sub-filled food and impersonating qualified food with unqualified food.
"Measures" provide that false labeling of pollution-free food, organic food, green food and other signs, false labeling "brewing" "pure grain" "solid fermentation" "fresh press" "fresh press" and other words, belong to food labels, instructions fraud. When applying for the registration of health food, special medical use formula, infant formula milk powder product formula, providing false information, data, materials and samples, etc., it is a fraud to apply for a food production and operation license.
The Measures make it clear that units and individuals use the network, media, mobile social platforms and other carriers to fabricate, disseminate and disseminate false food safety information;
Measures also state that units and individuals who fabricate, disseminate or disseminate false food safety information constitute violations of public security management shall be handed over to public security organs for handling in accordance with the law. Food publicity using "pure green" "pollution-free" and other exaggerated propaganda terms and other food propaganda fraud, the county level or above the food and drug supervision and administration departments may give warnings, and be fined 10,000 yuan to 30,000 yuan or less.
