Original title: Medium and long-chain triglycerides can reduce lipid accumulation in oleic acid-induced lipid deposition in human liver LO2 cells and regulate the expression of lipid metabolism-related proteins
State Key Laboratory of Food Science, Food Science and Technology, Nanchang University, Peng Bin, DENG Ze Yuan, Luo Ting and others in the food industry journals Journal of Functional Food S magazine published the article "Medium- and long-chain triglycerides attenuate lipid accumulation and regulate the expression of proteins related to lipid metabolism in oleic acid-induced lipid deposition in human hepatic LO2 cells".
Highlights
- The study compared the effects of different triglycerides on oleic acid-induced lipid deposition in human hepatocytes ;
- The OA+CROI and OA+OMO groups can significantly reduce the content of TG and T-CHO ;
- OA+CROI and OA+OMO groups down-regulated DGAT1 protein expression and up-regulated PPARα ;
- MLCTs reduce fat deposition by regulating the expression of lipid metabolism-related proteins .
