    On August 8, 2022, a research paper was published in Nature Climate Change

    The study shows that climate disasters exacerbate 58% of human infectious diseas.


    Camilo Mora et al systematically screened the literature and found 3213 empirical cases linking 286 unique human pathogenic diseases to 10 climate hazards such as warming, floods or drough.

    Overall, 58% of the reliably documented list of infectious diseases affecting humans has been shown to be exacerbated by climate chan.
