According to the data, the Inter-Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine (Material) Purchasing Alliance was established in July 2020.
It was jointly initiated by the Shandong Provincial Medical Insurance Bureau and the medical insurance bureaus of 11 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country.
The sponsoring members of the alliance include Shandong, Tianjin, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Fujian, Yunnan, Tibet, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia 12 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), covering the top ten authentic Chinese medicinal materials production areas in China, including Guanyao, Beiyao, Jiangnan medicine, Yunnan-Guizhou medicine, Tibetan medicine, and Western medicine.
The planting area of Chinese medicinal materials accounts for about 45% of the total planting area of the country
.
It is understood that, together with the alliance members of the Sanming Purchasing Alliance, the Sanming Purchasing Alliance currently covers 28 prefecture-level cities in 16 provinces and 4 national medical reform demonstration counties, which can be described as a broad scope

To fill in the content requirements, medical institutions shall fill in the historical purchase volume, total purchase amount, recent purchase unit price, manufacturer and specifications of the catalogue varieties one by one according to the purchase situation in 2021
.
If the same variety is supplied by multiple production enterprises, it must be reported one by one according to the name of the same variety
.
At the same time, medical institutions shall submit the purchase varieties, specifications, production enterprises and demand for the next year according to the actual clinical needs
.
