On July 28, 2021, the Biomedical Equipment Department of Guangzhou Biological Island Laboratory held a final acceptance meeting for the "High-throughput Fully Automatic Pathological Section Electronic Imager" project in Zhongju Park
The acceptance meeting invited Professor Chen Xiaofeng from South China University of Technology (the leader of the expert group), Professor Xu Wei from the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Ji Yuan from Beijing University of Technology, Professor Zhao Wenxia from Sun Yat-sen University, Professor Gao Ning from Peking University, Professor Kang Yongfeng from Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Jin Yu Eight experts including Director Hou Xiaotao of the Medical Electron Microscopy Pathology Inspection Center and Gao Yuemin, a senior accountant, reviewed the completion of the project
In the morning, researcher Fei Sun, the project leader, introduced the project background and project technical indicator acceptance plan to the evaluation technical expert group and was approved by the expert group
The expert review and acceptance meeting in the afternoon was presided over by Director Zhang Kun of the Biomedical Device Department.
Experts pointed out that the electron microscope pathological detection technology plays an important role in the diagnosis of tumors, kidney diseases, digestion, blood and nerve diseases and the detection and analysis of pathogens
The smooth implementation of the project has received strong support and help from the research group of Academician Xu Tao and the Bioimaging Center of the Institute of Biophysics
