In addition, the guidelines follow the requirements of normalized epidemic prevention and control, combined with the actual situation of blood station work, in terms of personnel protection, workplace cleaning and disinfection, medical waste treatment, blood donor selection and management, blood collection and supply procedures, laboratory testing, etc.

The guidelines also require blood stations to inform blood donors that if they find that their donated blood poses a safety risk after donating blood, they should notify the blood station of relevant information as soon as possible, so that the donated blood can be dealt with in a timely manner.
