According to a report by the British “Daily Mail” on July 6, after Australia became the latest country to discover “lambda”, this strain has spread to 31 countries.
The "lamda" variant is being monitored because it carries some mutations that may enhance its ability to spread
According to the WHO, some of these mutations may increase the ability of the virus to infect or reduce the ability of certain antibodies to neutralize the virus
