"Norwegian seafood exports have been strong
    over the past year.
Challenges such as wars in Europe, rising energy prices, inflation and weakening global purchasing power have led to high prices, with key seafood species including salmon, cod, mackerel, trout, pollock and herring all at record highs
    .
Christian Chramer, CEO of the Norwegian Seafood Board, said
    .

Norwegian seafood has achieved another good result in 2022

"The overall performance of Norwegian seafood exports in 2022 has reached another milestone
    .
The export volume of more than 150 billion yuan is inseparable from the hard work
    of practitioners.
Due to the war in Europe and the coronavirus pandemic, we are facing the challenge
    of high food prices.
While the value of seafood exports increased rapidly, the export volume remained stable
    .
The good export momentum also demonstrates the entire value chain and the ability
of practitioners to respond flexibly and continuously deliver products that meet market demand.
This is good news for the whole country and I am confident
in the future development of Norwegian seafood exports.
Norwegian Minister of Fisheries and Marine Policy Bjrnar Skjran said
