    In this way, Ting Shen1 et al from Zhejiang University compared the PVS burden of early PD with that of healthy controls (HCs), including the effect of smaller PVS


    They quantitatively assessed PVS burden on 7T MRI images to explore the prevalence of PVS and described the correlation pattern of PVS burden with clinical and imaging features to further understand its pathophysiological mechanism in PD


    They recruited 40 early-stage PD patients and 41 healthy controls (HCs)


    They also compared PVS burden between PD and HC and performed partial correlation analysis between PVS burden and clinical and imaging characteristics
