On July 19th, 22 new cases were confirmed, and 17 cases were in Xinjiang

July 19, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 22 new confirmed cases, of which 5 cases were imported from abroad (3 cases in Sichuan, 1 case in Inner Mongolia, 1 case in Shandong), 17 cases in China (all in Xinjiang);
24 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 465 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 2 cases of severe illness increased from the previous day.
83 confirmed cases (of which 3 are serious cases) and 4 suspected cases have been imported from outside China. A total of 2012 confirmed cases, a total of 1929 cases cured out of hospital, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on July 19, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 249 confirmed cases (of which 5 were serious cases), a total of 78,799 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths were reported, 83,682 confirmed cases were reported, and 4 suspected cases were reported. A total of 772,333 close contacts were traced and 7204 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 13 new cases of asymptomatic infection (4 cases imported from abroad);
received a total of 2386 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
1885 cases (1294 discharges, 12 deaths), 46 cases (46 discharges) in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and 455 cases in
regions (440 discharges and 7 deaths).
